CSF Parkinson Perugia Cohort

Summary

The CSF Parkinson Perugia Cohort aimed at assessing the discriminating power of multiple cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers for Parkinson's disease (PD) as well their ability in predictive cognitive decline. Several proteins were measured among those playing an important role in the disease pathogenesis: β-glucocerebrosidase and other lysosomal enzymes, together with α-synuclein species, total and phosphorylated tau.  Results were published on scientific papers.
